I just read about this great idea on a fellow non-native blogger's site, and am excited to create the same in German. I know that I was VERY eager for this when I was just starting out, and thus, would love to provide this resource for other fellow non-native mamas and papas who are eager to dive into German with their little budding bi- or multilingual babe! I also think that some of my family would enjoy reading some of these phrases that we use with Kaya a lot.
If you do find this list helpful, please leave a comment on one of my posts, or email me at lasnover2004@yahoo.com. I'd also love to hear anything that you have to add, or corrections that you think could be made, esp. by those native German speakers out there!
This list is a work in progress, which I will update as I can. Last update on Jan 31st. Also, there is an online book that I found with many similar-type expressions...I will work on posting a link for that, too. Thanks!
